A glorious sunny Sunday afternoon in Liverpool’s Sefton Park saw nearly a thousand riders get on their bikes in support of Breast Cancer Campaign’s first ‘Pedal it Pink’ fundraiser. All ages and abilities were able to participate with the 5K fun ride kicking off events at noon. It was not long before the more adventurous were directed to the holding area for the start of the marathon and half marathon events. Olympic gold medalist Victoria Pendleton joined in completing a number of laps of the picturesque Sefton park circuit.
We are extremely proud to be associated with this event and pleased that we can offer particpants personnel mementos of the day. We hope that this is the first of many pedal it pink rides held throughout the country so that more can have fun like those involved in Liverpool and together we can make a difference.
